Benefits Officer (Remote)

  • Location: Remote (Occasional Visits to Corby or Kettering)
  • Rate of Pay: £25 per hour Umbrella or £18.52 per hour PAYE
  • Working Pattern: Full-time
  • Contract Type: Temporary (3 Months)

Job Description: 

Optima Plus Recruitment is seeking a skilled Benefits Specialist on behalf of our client. This role involves managing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations, and providing expert guidance to employees regarding their entitlements. You will collaborate with HR teams, payroll departments, and external providers to optimize benefits administration and enhance employee experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Benefits Administration: Oversee and manage employee benefits programs, including pensions, health insurance, and leave policies.
  • Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure all benefits policies comply with legal and regulatory requirements, providing recommendations for improvements where necessary.
  • Employee Support & Guidance: Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits queries, delivering clear and accurate information.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with HR, payroll, and external providers to ensure seamless administration and processing of benefits.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies to enhance the employee benefits experience.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with Academy Capita and UCSD modules
  • Proven experience in employee benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits legislation, policies, and compliance.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
  • Professional qualification in HR, payroll, or a related field.
  • Experience working within a large organization or public sector environment.
  • Proficiency in HR or benefits management systems.
