Job Description:
Optima Plus Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a valued client for a Waste and Recycling Level 1 Driver to join their dedicated team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide an essential service to the local community and contribute to increasing recycling efforts in the area.

Responsibilities:
- Drive and load various waste and recycling collection vehicles, taking full responsibility for the vehicle during shifts.
- Ensure residents are recycling correctly and provide information where necessary.
- Unload vehicles safely at transfer stations in compliance with site rules.
- Report any issues promptly to supervisors to maintain service quality.
- Support other activities such as bulky waste collections, deliveries, and transfer station duties.
Required Skills & Experience:
- You hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence and CPC qualification.
- You take pride in delivering reliable, high-quality work and thrive as part of a team.
- You are committed to helping increase recycling and reducing waste.
- You are flexible, approachable, and customer-focused as a key representative of the service.
- You enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- You follow health and safety procedures to ensure the wellbeing of yourself and others.
