Hygienist/Therapist (Edinburgh)

  • Rate of Pay: Up to £38.00 per hour dependant upon experience
  • Hours: 2 days per week (hours to be confirmed)

Job Description: Are you a passionate and dedicated Hygienist/Therapist looking for an exciting opportunity in a well-established private dental practice? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our client in Edinburgh, offering up to £38.00 per hour for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality hygiene and therapy treatments to private patients
  • Educate and advise patients on oral health and preventative care
  • Carry out routine hygiene treatments including scaling, polishing, and periodontal care
  • Perform restorative treatments within scope of practice
  • Work closely with dentists and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care

Requirements:

  • GDC Registration as a Dental Hygienist/Therapist
  • Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy (UK recognised)
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in the UK
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a private practice environment
  • Additional training in teeth whitening or airflow polishing
  • Familiarity with modern digital dental systems
