  • Rate of Pay: £59,024 – £62,858 per annum (pro rata)
  • Working Pattern: Full-time
  • Contract Type: Temporary (6 Months)

Job Description: 

Optima Plus Recruitment is seeking a skilled Joint Safeguarding Business Manager on behalf of a prestigious client. This key role focuses on managing safeguarding processes and driving the implementation of effective strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals within the community. You will work closely with senior leadership teams, and provide expert guidance, support, and leadership in safeguarding.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement safeguarding policies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Oversee the development of safeguarding frameworks and contribute to training and development.
  • Provide advice and guidance to senior management on safeguarding issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practices and protect vulnerable groups.
  • Monitor and evaluate safeguarding initiatives and provide regular reports.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in safeguarding roles, including policy development and implementation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience working in multi-agency environments.
  • A relevant degree or qualification in Social Work, Law, or Public Health.
  • Registered with a relevant professional body.
  • Post-qualification experience in safeguarding.
