Job Description:
Optima Plus Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Marketing & School Liaison Executive on behalf of a leading education provider based in Cambridge. This exciting role will support student recruitment efforts and community engagement by building relationships with schools and promoting post-16 education pathways.
This position covers both the Cambridge and Huntingdon areas and is ideal for a confident communicator who enjoys working with young people, schools, and stakeholders to inform and inspire future learners.
Responsibilities:
Outreach & Engagement:
- Represent the organisation at school assemblies, open days, career fairs, and other events (in person and online).
- Deliver presentations and one-on-one guidance to students, parents, and community groups.
- Build and maintain relationships with school staff, sixth form contacts, and local stakeholders.
Marketing & Communications:
- Create engaging digital and print content, including social media posts, case studies, newsletters, and email campaigns.
- Assist with video creation, photography, and promotional materials to support recruitment.
- Contribute to the delivery of impactful recruitment campaigns and brand awareness.
Events Coordination:
- Support and coordinate internal and external events, including planning, logistics, and communications.
- Organise school visits, college tours, and local community engagement activities.
Administration & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of school engagement activities and stakeholder relationships.
- Work collaboratively with the wider marketing and recruitment team to meet targets and deadlines.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in marketing, outreach, student recruitment, or a similar public-facing role.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with confidence in delivering to large and diverse audiences.
- Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong time management abilities.
- Skilled in producing digital content and using social media as a communication tool.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally as required.
