Job Purpose: 
Ensure services comply with legislation and local policies.
Make complex decisions regarding social service provision.
Manage work allocation and collaborate with partner agencies.
Negotiate service provision with external agencies.
Chair meetings and ensure staff understand legislation.
Contribute to service planning and staff development.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.

Managing People:

Induct new staff and monitor performance.
Ensure effective staff deployment and address training needs.

Managing Resources:

Manage budgets effectively and administer grants.
Forecast budgetary requirements and manage pressures.

Managing Performance:

Contribute to planning processes and utilise management information systems.
Stay updated on legislative changes and conduct regular case audits.

Managing Self:

Maintain records and adhere to professional ethics.

Corporate Duties and Accountabilities:

Promote health, safety, and wellbeing policies.

Comply with regulations and procedures.
